What is Yunnan Baiyao Qiwuji

Yunnan Baiyao Qiwuji brings together the healing power of Yunnan Baiyao in a convenient, easy to use spray. It is an excellent and effective herbal lotion to relieve the pains from injury and to speed up the healing process.

The herbs in the lotion help stimulate blood flow to clear the swelling and stop the pain. They also help speed up the recovery process so you can get back to action again quickly.

This product is effective for addressing:

• Controlling bleeding in open tumors, wounds and cuts
• Promoting blood flow to eliminate blood stasis (i.e. sppeds healing when there is bruising and swelling due to trauma)
• relieving pain from the ligering effeects of traumatic injury (i.e. swelling and pain caused by stagnated blood)
• Aches in muscles and ligature chronic injuries and other long-term conditions (e.g. rheumatic arthritis)

When to Use Yunnan Baiyao Qiwuji Spray

Yunnan Baiyao Qiwuji Spray is ideal for:

• Bleeding Tumors, Wounds and Cuts: Helps control bleeding, reduce swelling, and prevent infection.
• Surgical Incisions: Promotes healing and reduces scarring.
• Skin Irritations: Eases discomfort caused by minor abrasions, rashes, or inflammation.
• Bruises or Swelling: Supports circulation and reduces localized pain.

Yunnan Baiyao aerosol spray (云南白药气雾剂) comes as a two-can set, and they’re meant for different situations:

The larger can — “No. 1” (气雾剂/主药)

• This is the main, everyday spray.
• Used for bruises, sprains, muscle strains, and swelling where the skin is not broken.
• Shake well, then spray directly onto the affected area from a few centimeters away, several times a day as needed.

The smaller can — “No. 2 / 保险液” (Baoxian Ye, “safety/backup solution”)

• This is a more concentrated, secondary solution.
• It’s intended for situations where there’s broken skin, an open wound, or bleeding from the injury — i.e., cases where you wouldn’t want to spray the main (No. 1) formula directly onto broken skin.
• It’s typically applied more sparingly and specifically to the wound area itself, sometimes as a first step before using No. 1 spray on the surrounding intact skin.

General order of use:

1. If the skin is broken/bleeding: use the smaller “保险液” can on the wound first.
2. Use the larger main spray (No. 1) on the surrounding bruised/swollen but unbroken skin.
3. If skin is intact throughout (just a bruise or sprain), you generally only need the larger main spray.

A few important caveats:

• Formulations and exact instructions can vary slightly by batch/version, so it’s worth checking the printed insert (说明书) that comes in your specific box — it will confirm which can is which and the exact application method.
• Avoid spraying on broken skin with the main (larger) can unless the insert specifically says it’s fine — that’s usually reserved for the smaller solution.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and don’t use on large open wounds without medical guidance.
• If you have a deep wound, heavy bleeding, or the injury seems serious, see a doctor rather than relying solely on the spray.
